Our Philosophy
At New New Millennium Foster Family Agency we believe that all children require a community of caring people to guide and teach them.  Children can benefit from a safe environment that allows them the opportunity to laugh, cry, play and celebrate their achievements.  It is important that they have the opportunity to appropriately interact with people of different ages, gender, cultures, religions and lifestyles.  This will assist in their personal development while fostering healthy relationships.  We acknowledge these needs and consciously engage the services of role models from the community.  In a safe and nurturing environment, children can realize their full potential.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create a wholesome and safe environment for children, where they can have and opportunity to be restored to a more rewarding quality of life. Our goal is to effectively match the needs of each child in our care with appropriate placement in a nurturing  home environment.  We will assess each child and provide a treatment plan  to address their education, medical, dental, psychological and social strengths and needs.  This goal is accomplished in cooperation with out trained and certified foster parents.  New Millennium provides 24 hours support, seven days a week.  An additional goal of the Agency is to collaborate with County Social Workers to facilitate placement goals and Permanency Planning.  We will support our children during the maturation process toward reunification or emancipation, and accomplish this by fostering an interdependent relationship with our community partners.

Our History
New Millennium Contemporary Management Inc. was founded in 1997 by Otis Thurman, a former Prison Administrator. Mr. Thurman had seen far too many juvenile offenders grow up to be criminals. He wanted to do something to be a part of the solution not a part of the problem. Mr. Thurman recognized that most children thrive in a caring and structured environment so he became a group home parent, opening the first group home in 1998.
By 2000, New Millennium was successfully operating 2 six-bed Group Homes. Mr. Thurman then saw a need to add a Foster Family Agency as an addition to better serve the children in need.
Over the years New Millennium has grown significantly by continuing to provide services to young children, teens and families as well as respond to local community needs. Our goal is to offer them hope and help for a brighter future.

He has assembled a team of qualified Social Workers (MSW's), Contract Psychologist- Psychiatrists, Youth Counselors and volunteer tutors to insure the integrity of service to the youth under their care.
